ANNOUNCEMENTS

You can find the obituary for Mr. Neutrelle under the "Classmate Forums" tab for Alumni News if you are interested.  (I haven't always tried to post the obits for our teachers from Butler Jr High School in the past but will if I am notified).  Of greater importance to all of you is that our fellow classmate, Dennis Wolenski, agreed to serve as co-administrator of our class website.  Dennis has been doing a fine job posting most of the obits since December, 2024, and I, along with the Reunion Committee, are glad to have another classmate who is willing to give of their time to keep our website going.  Dennis has sucessfully passed his 3-month probationary period, so I'm sure he would appreciate any words of thanks you have to offer.

Welcome to the Butler Area Senior High School Class of 1969's one and only official web site!  Following our 40th class reunion in 2009, the Reunion Committee approved creating our own private web site as an efficient way for you to help us to keep your contact information up to date.  Our site also allows each classmate to safely communicate with fellow classmates to whatever extent each classmate desires.  Whether or not you plan to attend any class functions, we still encourage every classmate to join our site (it's FREE) by simply clicking on their name under the Classmate Profiles tab (above left) to make sure all of their contact information is complete and correct (which will save all of us both time and expense).  Then, we also hope you will complete your personal profile.  We all have a unique life story to tell and other classmates would really like to read about yours.  You control how much profile information you wish to share with other registered classmates or the public by checking (or unchecking) boxes under your profile.  We realize how important privacy is today.  You can be assured that under no circumstances will your e-mail address, home street address or phone number(s) ever be publicly displayed on our web site.  As a matter of fact, only you and the site administrator for the Reunion Committee can view those confidential fields.  They are completely safe from being indexed by search engines.  Our site is strictly for the use of our registered classmates and it is free of advertising.  We promise to only send you an occasional e-mail.  You can also use the "Notify Me" Member Function to further control the timing and volume of e-mail you get via our web site.  In addition to serving as our official classmate database, the Reunion Committee uses our site to help to plan future class events and make it convenient for you to respond and/or even pay online if you wish.  As a reunion draws near, you will also be able to see a list of other classmates who have indicated they are planning to attend.  You are welcome to upload and share any recent photo(s) of you (and your family if you wish).  We really appreciate your participation and welcome your suggestions or comments.  After joining yourself, one of the best ways that you can help us is to look over the list of missing classmates to see if you have contact information for any of them.  If so, either pass it along to us or let them know about our web site and encourage them to reconnect with us in this way.  Thank you!
